-Ladies and gentlemen, long have we waited for the final group game in the distant wastelands of chaos. Long road to the foreign stadium took a lot of energy from Talabheim United. It was especially noticeable in plays of Eric the Treeman, who had his worst game of this season, and maybe even career. Speaking of whom, we have not seen Eric since the game. Mister Morranion, could you perhaps enlighten us about Eric's whereabouts?
-During the entire trip, Eric was behaving strange. Not that they ever behave normal, but I saw something unusual inside of them. Chaotic terrain has engulfed their thoughts. When we arrived to the pitch, Eric took root and never moved away from the field since. They were talking something about immortal power and stuff. Even their son could not distract them evil thoughts, as Eric tossed him away. I am afraid we lost Eric forever.
-With this defeat, chances of Talabheim United to go to the play-off are very slim. Coach Morranion, I am afraid such result is not satisfying for our established institution. Should we even call you coach still?
-With all respect, your established institution could not make it to the top tier of Blood Bowl in forever, and I took them to the finals the very first season being in charge. And dare I remind you, we lost the last game of the groups previous season as well. You are so smug right now, just after we came back from a withering trip, I'll see you face when I lift this trophy. Do not disrespect me! "Should we call you coach?" Huh! i was coaching back when you were a size of a snotling. Probably your brain has remained the same too. Respect!

Several minutes to midnight. Talabheim United's players and staff are gathered around a crystal ball.

-Hello again, dear Cabalvision viewers. It's Christina von Kielholz, reporting from the NAF headquarters. In a few minutes, a decision will be made about the Rusty Boyz and the Tomb King team "Pierwsze Trupy", who could not make it in time for their penultimate group matches. It would seem the inhospitable lands of Chaos proved to be even less approachable for these two teams than to our home town heroes of Talabheim United. If the aforementioned teams do not arrive to the stadium in time, they will be disqualified, which would mean that Talabheim United will qualify for play-off.

A thunderous voice shatters the room

-THEY WILL NOT COME!

Everyone turns heads to where the voice was coming from. It was Eric. His trunk was darker than before, his eyes glowing with purple fire, and a creature reminiscent of a Nurgling is sitting on his shoulder.

-I HAVE FORESEEN BILLIONS OF OUTCOMES. THEY WILL NOT COME.
-How do you know? You did something to them, you monster!
-THAT DOES NOT CONCERN YOU, MORRANION.

Joseph Morranion tries to argue, but seeing Eric expanding their branches in a menacing way, Joseph keeps silence.

-It is midnight, ladies and gentlemen. The NAF handed their verdict. Rusty Boyz and Pierwsze Trupy are disqualified, meaning Talabheim United grabs the last remaining spot in the play-offs! Coach Morranion's team will face their arch nemesis in coach Jaskier, the current winner of LWN, now with illustrious amazons. The odds are heavily in favor of the reigning champion, but what we learned today is that you can never count out Talabheim United. See you on the pitch!

-The quarterfinal game has just ended, and with it concluded the season for Talabheim United. Coach Jaskier and his amazon dorama stars were triumphant. Coach Morranion, what was missing in today's game?

-We were slow. They caught us off-guard with a blitz, and this wardancer was all over the place. I expected amazons to be dodgy and nimble, and we had no specialists to chase them.

-You mentioned Iyrandrar the star wardancer being a huge problem for your team today. You put the whole bank on Giga Sokrates, another star player. Would you say that your gamble paid off?

-Well, I would appreciate if he paid more attention to the game, but it seems like he was much more interested in philosophical discourse with Eric. But overall, he did more or less what was expected of him. Which was being a strong guy requiring attention and taking it away from Eric, giving the treeman some movement, and occasionally throwing punches.

-But he did not injure anyone. If anything, it was only Niemann who did any damage to the amazons. It does not take a tactical genius to know that the best way to stop half-naked low armor players is to kill them. But it was in fact that the heavily armored dwarves that were prone to damage the most. Would you admit that your concept of uniting dwarves and humans does not work, coach Morranion?

-It is not the concept that doesn't work, it's that these particular dwarves are not good at Blood Bowl. Just compare them to Bal Otel or Thorgan. Eden made one measly injury this season, Niemann only popped off in this game, Mario spend more times in social media than in trainings, how do you expect me to cook anything with these guys? Our scouting is a disaster, the only two good players in our squad are here from the first season. Out of all these losers, only Wout is deserving to stay in Talabheim United. And I really hope that our management finds me better players next season. Press conference over.
